Library Information

General Library Information
The library is open from 7:40 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • If a student comes to the library without his/her class, he or she will need to sign in at the computer and have a signed note from his/her teacher with student's first/last name, time, and teacher's signature.
  • There is no printing charge for things printed in black and white from the computer that is for a school assignment.  If you print in color, there is a charge of 25 cents per color page.
  • We have a copy machine for the use of the students. There is no charge for school-related materials.
  • Use the online Siegel Library catalog to help you locate books that are in the library. The computer to the right of the library entrance is set up for this, but you may use any available computer to access the catalog.
  • Books may be checked out by students for a period of 3 weeks. Students may renew books as long as no one is waiting for them. Before bringing your book to circulation for check out, please fill out the library card--first/last name & teacher's name. Type your lunch code into the key pad at the circulation desk to get started.
  • Overdue book fines are 10 cents a day, not counting weekends and holidays.
  • If a student has a fine or an overdue book, he/she may not check out another book.
  • Students should not check books out for anyone other than themselves.
  • Students may return books in the drop at the end of the circulation desk or in the drop box in the hall.
  • We have a limited selection of magazines; others may be accessed on TEL. If you need a particular magazine, let us know and we will try to order it.
  • Students need to check out a P.I. time pass from the library the morning of the day you need to visit.

  • PLAN AHEAD SO THAT WE MAY ACCOMMODATE YOU.
  • SUBSTITUTES MAY NOT BRING CLASSES TO THE LIBRARY.                               
  • IF YOU ARE ABSENT, PLEASE RESCHEDULE.
  • IF YOU NEED TO USE THE LIBRARY FOR AN IN-SCHOOL OR AFTER-SCHOOL MEETING, PLEASE call/email to be added to OUR CALENDAR.
