Stacey Helmbrecht

My name is Stacey Helmbrecht, and I am honored to be your counselor here at Siegel High School. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and let you know what I'm here for.

As your counselor, I'm here to help you navigate the challenges and decisions that arise throughout high school. Whether you're facing questions about high school courses, college applications, career choices, or personal concerns, my office is a safe and confidential space for you to share and explore these matters. I want you to know that I'm here to listen without judgment and to provide guidance and resources to help you make informed choices.

My background includes 8 years as a high school counselor in Williamson County, 6 years as a middle school counselor in Texas, and 7 years as a middle school band director.  What drives me in my role as a counselor is the sincere desire to support you on your academic, personal, and emotional journey through this crucial year and beyond.

Beyond my professional role, I'm also a native Texan, but I love it here in Tennessee.  I have a 19 year old daughter and have been married to my husband for 25 years.  We have 2 standard schnauzers, a German shepherd, and a pony.  I mention this because I believe in the importance of building trust and rapport with my students. I want you to feel comfortable approaching me, whether it's about your goals, concerns, or just to chat about shared interests.

I am genuinely excited to join you on this journey through your senior year, and I look forward to getting to know each of you better. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time. My door is always open, and my inbox is always available.
