hello incoming freshman I am chief I'll send you the senior Army instructor at Siegel High School do you want to develop your leadership skills do you like Adventures what about attending a formal occasion such as a military ball if you answered yes to any of these questions then Junior Reserve officer training Corps JROTC is for you the mission of the JROTC is to motivate young people just like you to be better citizens the program helps prepare high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them away rights responsibilities and privileges as American citizens students who participate in the program development leadership skills time management decision-making teamwork communication and many more all critical life skills what program is organized in a military structure and is sponsored by the United States Army however there is no military obligation or pressure to join the armed services JROTC provides a pathway to graduation upon completion of two years in the program you will earn the required credits and wellness and PE upon completion of three years you will require government and personal finance credit JROTC pathway also leads the scholarship for college men who join the military as officers to this path and join the senior ROTC pass in college if serving in the armed forces your career goals you have the ability to join at a higher rank which means on day one you will be able to earn more in pay am I the benefits of joining the program includes no team fees are Club dues for joining you will also you will not have to pay for textbook material uniforms or uniform accessories Joann all program awesome is that you'll be part of a Raider team write 14 drill team and what color guard team none of these teams are mandatory and lastly as a Cadet you become part of a family together we care for each other we help each other and do everything we can to ensure that you graduate on time and become a pro I hope this has sparked your interest in our program if you would like more information about JROTC please do not hesitate to reach out to me or they only instructor message on Thurston oh contact information when is on the flyer we look forward and welcoming you into the JROTC family thank you
