Millican's Minutes

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am entering my twelfth year of teaching and am looking forward to another amazing year! This year I have the privilege of teaching both English II Honors and AP Literature and Composition, as well as serving as the English Department Chairperson.

A little about me:

- I LOVE WHAT I DO! This will become evident very quickly!

- I will laugh at my own jokes and stories (even if no one else does...). ;-)

- I tend to talk (and laugh) LOUDLY. You can usually hear me in a room before you see me....

- I will read everything you write (which is why it sometimes takes me a while); I will not grade everything you write.

- I will have high expectations for you; You can meet (and exceed!) them.

- I will do my best to help you do your best.

I am excited for the year and can't wait to get to know each of you!
