I hope everyone is staying healthy during this difficult time. It has been a different start to the school year with many challenges that we continually strive to work through each day. I cannot wait until we are able to have all of our students back under one roof and we get back to normalcy.

I have attached a letter explaining our annual fund raiser that we have to raise funds to improve instruction and keep our campus looking beautiful. 2nd Nine Weeks Choice for Distance Learning

While the overall goal is to return students to a traditional in-person setting, Rutherford County Schools will continue with a distance-learning option for students the second nine weeks. Please fill out the online form at the link below for each student that attends Siegel High School. The deadline for the form to be completed is September 28. This decision only impacts the second nine weeks. The link can also be found on the front page of the Siegel High School website.

Senior Shirts

Senior shirts will be on sell in the front lobby next Tuesday after the ACT. The cost is $12. The shirts are solid navy blue with the following design.

ACT Testing

In the spring of each school year, juniors in Rutherford County Schools have the opportunity to take the ACT test at their zoned schools. This past spring the juniors did not have the opportunity to take the ACT due to closure of schools as a result of the COVID pandemic.

Student Parking Pass

Parking pass form can be found here. The cost is $10. In an attempt to stay within social distancing regulations, we are setting appointments for purchase. After your form is completed, a purchase appointment date and time will be sent via email.

ESL Distance Learning - Parent Training

The English as a Second Language (ESL) department will give parent training classes to the parents of our distance learners.

National ACT Testing

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, CDC guidelines limiting the number of outside people, and the safety of our students, Rutherford County Schools will not be used as ACT National testing site on National test dates in the fall. MTSU will offer the ACT as a National testing site for the October 17th date only. Please reach out to MTSU Testing Services at 615-898-2863 for further information.
