Siegel Humanities Academy
Parents,
You are invited to take part in a community book club! Join us as we read the New York Times bestseller, The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt.
This powerful book explores teenage anxiety and the pressures of social media on our children. The book also provides valuable insights into how parents and schools can work together to better support our teens.
Event Details:
- Book: The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt
- Discussion Date: Monday, September 23rd
- Time: 6:00 PM
- Location: Siegel High School Library
This event will not only be a chance to delve into the themes of the book but also an opportunity to engage in a broader conversation with other parents and educators. Together, we can explore ways to help our teens navigate the challenges they face in today’s digital world.
If you’re interested in joining the Book Club, please let us know by RSVPing to this Link by Sept. 16th. Copies of the book are available for purchase on Audible and Amazon, or you can find it at your favorite bookseller. Even if you haven’t finished the book by the meeting date, you are still welcome to join the conversation.
We look forward to your participation and to working together to create a supportive community for our students.
