Hello! I am one of two Siegel High School Library Media Specialists. I am proud to be a Siegel Star! I came to Siegel High School in 2003 when the school opened as one of its new librarians. I had been teaching 11th grade English at Oakland High School for 15 years prior. I had always wanted to own a bookstore, and this is even better because I get to choose the books without worrying too much about the overhead.
I love to read, and I have developed a serious love of Young Adult fiction. I am rather big into fantasy and historical fiction. Anyone who knows me also knows that if you stick a vampire in it, I will probably like it. I also love to hear what other people are reading and to get suggestions from the students. One of my favorite recent reads was a suggestion from a student, so please stop in and tell me what you think is awesome!
