Caroline Ott Library Media Specialist

Welcome to the library media center! I am Caroline Ott, one of two teacher librarians at Siegel High School. While in my eighth year as library media specialist at Siegel, I have more than twenty years in the classroom, I have a B.S. in education, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, certification in English and Library Science, and an education specialist degree in reading.

Growing up in Murfreesboro, my husband and I have a son, daughter-in-law, and grandson who live in Alaska and also a son completing his MBA from UT Martin (Siegel grad). I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family. When I read, it is often realistic fiction and biographies—unless I’m reading for my book club, where anything goes.

The library should be the hub of the school, so be on the lookout for monthly themes, co-teaching with Siegel classroom teachers, helping with research, and making recommendations for books. Be sure to visit the library media center!
