welcome to Parkway Island does quick tips today's quick tip or dashboard lights  this is the typical view of any Honda Dash laughed is your tachometer and it's the revolutions per minute that the engine is operating at to the right of. Is your speedometer and in this case it's in kilometers below. odometer and to the right of those gauges is how much fuel is in your vehicle and to the right of that is the operating temperature of that vehicle today will be discussing the various lights that can come on in your dashboard  and we're going to talk about few things to remedy those and as we go through it not all of the lights are applicable to every vehicle first light that we see is the car horn this means that the vehicle's horn is not operating correctly and it should be inspected the next light is the oil Usher warning light this means that the engine is not have the correct oil pressure and needs to be inspected immediately if dislike comes the best thing to do is to stop the vehicle and have it towed to your local garage  the next light is your break or hand brake warning light this means either two things that your brakes are not operating correctly or the handbrake is on in either case you would want to have this inspected immediately the next light is your abs warning light this means that your anti-lock braking system is not operating correctly and you should have this inspection immediately  this is your battery light means the battery is not functioning correctly and again this should be inspected immediately this is an engine warning light this means that the engine is not operating correctly you should have the vehicle turned off towed to local mechanic and have it inspected immediately  this is your hazard warning lights this means that your four-way blinkers or play signals are on at the moment this is an engine overheat or coolant warning light this means that the engine is shooting at a higher temperature than normal you should have the engine turned off immediately and inspect it this is your airbag warning this is important light this means that the airbag is not functioning correctly does a seatbelt warning light means that your seat belt is not on this is your main beam these are your high beams meaning to be used during fog or places low visibility  this is your low fuel warning light this means that there's the fuel level in the vehicle is low and it's did that you have it filled up the next light are your front fog lights meaning that your front fog lights are on this is your win screen washer fluid this means your windscreen washer fluid is low and that you should have it topped up this is your windscreen defrost means that your rear or front windscreen defrost is on  this is your rear window defrost this means that your rear window defrost is on  this is your parking brake light meaning that the parking brake is engaged at the time  this is your tire warning light meaning that one of the tires in the vehicle is low at the moment you should have this inspected immediately  this is your power steering warning lights this means that your power steering system is not operating correctly and you should have the system inspected immediately  issues your start-stop indicator meaning that the vehicle is has been started and stopped immediately in this case you should just restart vehicle and if any other light comes on have it inspected immediately  this is your press clutch pedal light meaning that if this is a manual in order to start it you must deep press the clutch pedal this is your press brake pedal light this means to best to break that the vehicle would like the operator to have it thrust is your direction indicators this people know that you're making either a left or right there usually in green and that they're on at this time it says your rear fog light diesel vehicles this is your diesel particulate filter warning meaning that there is something with the system and that needs to be inspected immediately  this is water in fuel filter warning light this means that there's water in it thank you should have your vehicle stopped and towed to your local mechanic and have it inspected immediately  this is your automatic gearbox warning light either electrical problem  inside the gearbox that your vehicle should be stopped and told your local mechanic to have it checked it immediately  this is your brake pad warning lights means your brake pads  are getting low and they should slight suggest that you should have it inspected  by your local mechanic this is your cruise control warning or slash info light means your cruise control is active and that you're using it currently  this is your bald monitoring or fault warning light this means that there is an fault or one of the bulbs in the vehicle is not operating correctly  diesel vehicles this is your glow plug or preheat Morning Light this means when you put the car on you should leave it on until this light disappears that means your glow plugs are hot and then you can start the vehicle at that point  this is a service required or fault problem like at this point it's best to turn the vehicle off have it towed or inspected by your local mechanic  cure a few other lights that can actually come on in your vehicle sometimes these lights differ depending on makes and Brands I will leave this up for it to be inspected for a moment and in any case we highly suggest at Parkway Honda to have your vehicle towed or brought into our service center to have inspected as you can see these are just warning lights which you should take in
