Work Ethic Distinction

Benefit to student -- Recipients will:

• Option to purchase a green WED graduation cord ($10)
• Earn a gold WED seal on their diploma
• Be recognized statewide as ‘Tri-Star Scholars’ (must also have 19 on ACT)
• Earrn an automatic interview with participating employers across the entire State of TN, if minimum job requirements are met.

• View the Work Ethic Distinction Standards to see which standards you qualify for and/or those you can work towards.  View Standards at:  https://tnworkethic.com/Home/About
• Create a Work Ethic Distinction student account by logging into www.tnworkethic.com
• When registering, make sure you:
• fill out the Career Interest Profile which allows employers to see your interests
• check 'yes' to employer notification so employers can contact you for an interview appointment
• use a personal email for employer contacts (school emails are deleted after graduation)
• Begin uploading documents into your WED account.  Standards 1-4 and 9 documentations cannot be uploaded until after April 1, 2024.  Any documentation for those standards uploaded prior to this date will not be approved.
• Meet required 32 points total 
• Complete all uploads by midnight, April 12, 2024
