What Every Teen Needs to Know About Distracted and Impaired Driving
Added Mar 27, 2020 •
Do you worry about your students driving? It's no wonder. Each year nearly 3,000 teens die in vehicle crashes as a result of impaired and distracted driving. And prom season and summer driving are the most dangerous times for teen drivers. This 45-minute virtual assembly will show your high school students just how dangerous inexperienced driving can be. The assembly was filmed live at the Ford Rouge Factory Tour building in Dearborn, Michigan, with a live high school classroom. If you weren't able to join us for the live event, you'll now be able to watch the recorded assembly above at any time, from the comforts of your classroom. Your students will see a drunk driving simulation, crash test demos and more. Plus, we had students try on a drunk suit and goggles and try to catch a football and walk a straight line—it's entertaining, and eye-opening. Plus, do you know what a crumple zone is? You'll find out.
