Welcome to Dr. Pamela Perkins, new Assistant Principal

We are excited to announce the hiring of Dr. Pamela Perkins as the new Assistant Principal at Siegel High School. She has been teaching English at Smyrna High School for 11 years. Dr. Perkins has also been the Dean of Students, Co-Sponsor of Beta Club, and the Student Assistance Team Chair. Dr. Perkins will be replacing Mrs. Renee Martin who will be retiring this May.

Siegel FFA Plant Sale

It's spring ... that means it's time to plant some beautiful flowers and vegetables! Find some healthy plants at the FFA Plant Sale! All of these plants were grown by the students in the Plant Sciences classes. There is no doubt that their efforts this semester have paid off. They grew approximately 4,000 plants, combatted plant diseases and pests, and underwent multiple inspections from the USDA. Drop by the school Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm or Saturdays from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm to see our plants ... Click to see the flyer for prices and inventory!

In October the Siegel High School FFA Chapter received and completed a Living to Serve Grant from the National FFA Organization. However, to add to that success the organization just received word that their grant has been selected for the national spotlight. Siegel Athletics is establishing the Siegel Hall of Fame for past outstanding players, teams, coaches, or other contributors to our athletic program. Congratulations to Mrs. Diedra Coates!

The Siegel High FFA chapter nominated Mrs. Diedra Coates, our vocational secretary, for the prestigious FFA Tennessee Honorary State Degree for her outstanding service and support for our FFA program. The Tennessee FFA Foundation unanimously voted in favor for her to receive such an honor. Mrs. Coates will attend an awards ceremony in Gatlinburg, TN during the annual State FFA Convention. This award is no small accomplishment as it is the highest accomplishment a supporter of our organization can receive.
